I started Rocket Resume after going through my own career change and experiencing firsthand how frustrating, confusing, and discouraging the job search can be.
When you're looking for work, especially during a career change or a difficult life transition, the process can feel overwhelming. You may have real skills, experience, and potential, but still struggle to explain your value in a way that gets noticed. Finding a job, let alone a quality career, should not depend on already knowing how to market yourself.
That is one of the hardest parts of the modern hiring process: the skills that make someone a great employee are not always the same skills needed to write a compelling resume. A strong engineer, nurse, teacher, manager, technician, or salesperson should not have to become an expert resume writer just to get a fair shot.
